Born with Kuwait's oil industry.
On 30 June 1946, His Highness the late Sheikh Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah turned a silver wheel to start Kuwait's first crude oil export, aboard the tanker British Fusilier. One year later, in 1947, the Khorsheed family founded GOC to serve the industry that would transform the nation.
